Container Shipping (Coffee)
Green coffee moves in standard 20-foot dry containers — ~300 bags / 19.2 tonnes — prepared against coffee's great transit enemy, condensation: kraft-paper or cardboard lining on walls and ceiling, desiccant bags, careful stowage off the doors, and ventilation settings where available. 'Container rain' forms when humid tropical air meets cold steel crossing latitudes; proper dressing sheds it away from the bags. Stuffing surveys and photos document loading condition for insurance and buyers.
