GrainPro / Hermetic Liners
Multi-layer plastic liner bags placed inside jute sacks to seal green coffee from oxygen and moisture — the specialty trade's standard since the 2000s, with GrainPro the brand that became generic. Hermetic packing holds moisture and water activity stable through ocean transit and humid warehouses, extending freshness months beyond bare jute; the modest cost per bag repays itself in preserved cup quality. Vacuum packing goes further for top micro-lots. All Volcana export lots ship GrainPro-lined as standard.
