Cauca Coffee

Cauca's coffee grows on the high Popayán plateau and surrounding slopes, much of it farmed by indigenous Nasa and Misak communities and organized smallholder associations. A protected denomination of origin recognizes the region's distinct profile: high-altitude brightness wrapped in unusual sweetness.

Cool nights near the Puracé volcano slow maturation, and the region's tradition of meticulous washed processing keeps cups clean and articulate. Cauca has become a favorite source for certified and relationship coffees with strong social stories and equally strong cup quality.
